About Gaming at ConFABulous

  • Open Tabletop Gaming

    Board games and card games? You want them, we have them! We have a large game library to choose from and ample table space to use, but feel free to bring your own games, too.

    Let us know if there are any games you'd like to play but can't bring!

  • Roleplaying Games

    At ConFABulous, we have multiple RPGs run by experienced Gamemasters (GMs) all weekend long. These are usually small group games lasting 3-4 hours in particular RPG worlds.

    You are the crew of a lone Klingon starship on the trail of a superweapon that could wreak havoc across the Empire... and beyond. Do you stop it or do something else with it? You decide! Qapla'!!!

  • The Palace of the Ice Princess

    Have you ever wondered about the origins of the Petal Throne? On a cold, barren plane lies an artifact of unimaginable antiquity, built at the magnetic pole rather than the geographic one. The palace's isolation is intentional: It exists where reality itself thins. Players will explore this "palace" and find out some of the origin story of the Petal Throne itself.

Its fate has been intertwined with ancient rites and modern ambition, making it a potent symbol of both hope and hubris.

    Our intrepid lesbians find themselves in Neo-Tokyo once again on another cyberpunk-themed quest. This time, the word on the street is that something is very sus about the neighborhood’s costumed mascot, Chiitan-san, a friendly otter--or rather, suddenly not-so friendly. Worse, Chiitan’s mood seems to be spreading to other automatons in Akihabara. Will the lesbians be able to figure out what’s gone wrong before it becomes MASCOT MAYHEM!!?

    No experience necessary, simple rules will be taught, characters are created in under 5 minutes so we'll do this together right before play!

    In Mausritter, you play cute little bipedal mouse people with swords and spells who go on deadly adventures.

  • Camp Flying Moose

    Powered by a     Lumberjanes-like RPG
    No experience necessary, very simple rules will be taught, design your own characters

    Inspired in part by the Lumberjanes comic book series, this PbtA RPG embodies "high fantasy, low stakes" with the addition of twee magical girls/enbies/boys with powers like Crafting and "I Have a Badge for That!!" Come spend a few hours at Camp Flying Moose where you can choose to help a talking squirrel find her missing pup, chase the monster in the lake, or try on the costumes found in the creepy Loft of Cabin One. Whatever you do, try not to end up on the path through the bent oaks that leads directly to the land of the Fey!
