Hello, ConFABulous attendees! We are kicking off day two of our 2026 event but want to share a couple quick updates:
Hotel Parking: Park Anywhere in the Hotel Parking Garage
If you’ve attended before, you know that the top two levels of the parking ramp have free parking for us to use. The top level, in particular, leads right into the second level of the hotel where our convention is being held. However, much of the connected parking ramp is currently under construction!
Per the hotel, we are able to use any open parking space in the parking ramp for free while attending the convention. Most of the available parking spaces are below ground level but there is an elevator for accessibility in the southwest corner of the garage.
A note on this parking update has also been added to our hotel page.
GPS Charity Auction: Bidding is ONLINE and Open Through 8PM Today!
Geek Partnership Society (GPS) supports year-round geeky community building through clubs and events, assistance for other geeky nonprofits, and outreach programs such as Project Lighthouse (an educational grants program), the GPS Annual Writing Contest, the Space Camp Scholarship Fund, and the GPS Arts Initiative. To help support GPS in return, many local conventions – including ConFABulous! – host silent auctions to help raise funds for all their work.
This year’s charity auction has bidding online through 8PM today but you can see items up for bid in by visiting Runway II in the convention hotel anytime between 10AM and 8PM today. Pickup for winning bids is tomorrow, Sunday, October 4 between 10 AM and 2PM.
You can access the charity auction on our new GPS Charity Auction page!
Con Suite: Grab a Key Card for Access
Hotel key cards are required to access rooms higher than the second floor of the con, which is where our ConSuite is (Room 412). If you need access to a key card, please visit Registration for one of our access cards on a lanyard (and return it when you’re done!) If there aren’t any available key cards, or Registration has closed for the day, please find a member of the convention committee to help you.
We have lots of great goodies up in Con Suite, including our Chocolate Symposium at 3PM today!
Have an Excellent Day Two of Con!
We hope you’re enjoying the con so far and look forward to an excellent day two with all of you!
