ConFABulous 2024 is in two short weeks at the Crowne Plaza Suites MSP Airport – Mall of America, 3 Appletree Square in Bloomington, MN on October 11-13, 2024. Register now at https://confabulous.org/wordpress/registration/
Our programming space is all on the hotel’s second floor, which is on the same level as the top floor of the parking garage and accessibility friendly.
- Hotel – Our hotel room block is still open and room rates are only $129. To book your room now at https://confabulous.org/wordpress/hotel/
- Getting there/Parking – As a reminder, parking is free with or without a hotel room. You can also get to the hotel via light rail (with a very short walk). You’ll be close to the Mall of America and the MSP airport.
- Food – Again in 2024 we will provide a selection of hot and cold foods catered by the hotel throughout the convention along with breakfasts, snacks and soda offerings from our ConSuite, including the Saturday Chocolate Symposium (donations of chocolate are welcome and appreciated).
- Board Games – Our game room is sponsored this year by The Source Comics and Games and Tower Games. You’ll have access to their Games libraries with a large selection of board and card games, and friendly players willing to take you on whether you’re a beginner or an expert. - Role-Playing Games –This year we have three rooms dedicated to role-playing games. If you would like to play in a game or run a role-playing game contact us at programming@ConFABulous.org
- Panels – We have a slate of panels of general interest to the speculative fiction, gaming, and LGTBQA community. We are still looking for panelists, so to volunteer to be on panels please contact us at programming@ConFABulous.org
- COVID/Masking – Due to the large uptick in the summer COVID wave this year our policies for 2024 are the same as last year. Please see our website for details.
